You may have images on your PC that you don’t want your family members, friends, or coworkers to be able to see. LuckyIcon Art’s PicaSafe application helps you manage your collection of photos, hide private photos, and generally keep prying eyes away from what you would rather remain confidential. It does this by allowing you to put your images in a password protected file.

The PicaSafe installation file is only 2.5MB in size, meaning it will take but a moment to get the file onto your PC. When you run this file, a setup wizard shows up and guides you through all the steps you need to take to install PicaSafe on your Windows-powered machine. During the installation process you will be asked to install the Babylon Toolbar, set Babylon as the homepage, and set Babylon as the default search provider.

When you launch PicaSafe for the first time, you will see two large buttons on its dark-themed interface: “Add photos in current PicaSafe file” and “Create a new PicaSafe file.” Click the round button in the upper left hand side and you will be presented with a traditional File menu. After you create an album, you will see thumbnails of the images included in the album in the main pane of the application’s interface. At the bottom you have buttons for adding images, starting a slideshow, and more.

As mentioned above, PicaSafe’s main purpose, which is to keep your pictures safe, is achieved by putting your images into a password protected executable file. To get a better idea of what sort of functionality you can expect to get from PicaSafe, here’s a quick look at its features: sort your images into photo albums, create false albums protected with a false password, put an album into an encrypted file and send it to someone, export photos in original form, put different passwords on different albums, and more.

PicaSafe is free to use for a trial period of 30 days.

Easily manage your collection of images and keep your images safe from prying eyes with the powerful PicaSafe application.

Pros

The application’s dark-themed interface is very easy to use. You can create photo albums, password protect them, create fake albums, and more.

Cons

Free to use for 30 days; nag screen.
